I am a physical therapist who specializes in pelvic health and hold certifications in functional nutrition counseling and pregnancy/postpartum corrective exercise. I received my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Hardin Simmons University and my BSEd in Health Science Studies from Baylor University. I have worked in the field of women’s and men’s pelvic health since the start of my career as a physical therapist.
My desire is to partner with patients to help them achieve their goals by approaching wellness from an integrative perspective.
I believe we can accomplish so much more when we look at all the pieces of the puzzle. I do this by taking the time to listen to my patients, take a thorough history, and investigate all the relevant body systems (muscular, digestive, urinary, endocrine to name a few…) to help determine what factors may be contributing to their symptoms and conditions.
Hi, I’m allison ball
My experience as a mother of two and as a woman with PCOS and Hashimoto’s thyroiditis has fueled my drive to work with patients who battle conditions that impact multiple systems. When we can address a multi-faceted problem with a combination of treatment approaches - such as physical therapy and nutrition - we can be more comprehensive, and ideally, achieve results more quickly.
No matter where you are in your health and wellness journey, I am here to meet you where you are at, listen to your needs, and develop a plan to guide you on your path to recovery.
